The "squirt, mop, squirt, mop" tip is a good one.

I try to avoid as many chemicals as I can---especially bleach. I use natural things. A lesson in microbiology tells me that 99.99% of bacteria doesn't need to be "eliminated" (not even 1% of it will harm you). I am astounded at the marketing plays these days! Take a surface whose only concern is spilled juice or something of the like---something that won't harm or kill you---and clean it with Lysol or Pine Sol or other such products---those that can kill you. My favorite is taking out the heavy duty cleansers (the ones that make breathing impossible and the ones that will definitely kill you if you inhale or ingest them) to make your house sanitary and safer. ...What?!

They even use to advertise that they were safe to use on things babies and young children handle, such as high chairs and balls. That was the most irritating! Someone must've got on them for that atrocity because I no longer see that angle in commercials.

Wow! I REALLY like how well the floors looked and was SO happy the floor dried so fast. I have a 2 year old and had been drying the floors with an old towel to keep her from falling on a slippery-wet floor. Now there's an unseen benefit of green-cleaning my floors!

I recently purchased the "O-mop" from Method or rather had it purchased for me. The home I rent has hardwood laminate floors and I wasn't happy about having to use a traditional mop to clean my floors. I used the o-mop and loved it from the first day! I would strongly suggest that anyone looking for an environmentally friendly option to get the o-mop and its wonderful re-usable microfiber cloth! Keep it Up Make it Green Girl!
